MSNBC Anchor Caught in Profanity- Laced Rant — Click Through to Watch the Video. One of MSNBC’s prime- time anchors is apologizing after video surfaced of a profanity- filled meltdown while the cameras continued to roll — even though the tirade took place off the air. Lawrence O’Donnell apologized on Twitter for the rant, which was published by Mediaite after the footage was leaked.

Things were obviously not going well that night on the tech side, prompting O’Donnell to yell out repeatedly at one point, “Stop the hammering!” And that was one of his milder comments.“The video, which lasts a full eight minutes, is a collection of clips from one evening (given O’Donnell’s consistent outfit) and [shows] the MSNBC anchor fuming about earpiece malfunctions, blasting off obscenities and screaming at his staff.
