What is your favorite anime, if you watch anime. INTPI did and I liked it. Patiently waiting for S2. Characters died gracefully and have fulfillment in their hearts, (If you're sad about that "unfulfilled" love story you can read the manga in advance). Angel Beats is kinda similar but they already died once in their previous life, had their loved ones die in their arms then vanish again one by one when they reach fulfillment (Another one with unfulfilled love story, is there a genre like this?).
Although I haven't watched attack on titan after all that massive hype, I think Ao. T just used unworthy death as a plot of attention while killing characters without fulfillment for fueling generic "shonen powerup rage" + "main protagonist with special lineage." I hate those kinds of generic plot. The complete contrast of the above shows.
I like animes where the main protagonist isn't of special lineage. SAO's Kirito isn't one as he's just a 'good gamer' in a complicated family but that "shonen rage" when his first guildies die is really out of place due to that very short character interaction caused by that short airtime plus the time skips. In Toaru the protag is really weak but the story revolved around the characters, the main characters even have their own series just like Monogatari. Another anime I liked: Mahouka Koukou no Rettouseimaybe an ENTP or borderline INTPdoesn't care about his influencial family lineagecreative and uses irregular magicgood at computersrational and emotionlessmany say the whole series is cringe- y, but not as cringe as those generic "rage awaken secret lineage" anime.
